We got two sweet baby dolls as a gift from friends, right when Maya was born, and they have been sitting up on the top of her bookshelf ever since. I noticed the other day that she had noticed them, so I thought, hey, it may be time to get those down. Maya was fighting a nasty cold, so forgive the jammies, the bedhead, and the snot-crusted nose. I promise, I do occassionally bathe and dress my child. I don't know where my camera disappears to in those moments. . . .
I loved what was written on the box--reminded me of my China days.

I'm so glad you posted this! I was just telling your mom about the sweet babydoll with blonde pigtails and wondering aloud if you could buy a doll like that there or if you took it back with you. So there ARE blonde baby dolls in the Middle East!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful expressions as Maya discovers a new little babydoll friend!! Sooo precious; I miss this little munchkin too much!! Maya looks so cute, bedhead, red nose and all! Actually, I think the pj's look warm and cozy. Love you all!!
ReplyDeletebaby dolls are the best! i love thinking about this being a new concept for her. something about her face, here, makes her look like you more than i've really seen so far.
ReplyDeleteI want to kiss that little snot encrusted nose! I hope Babs reads this and sees that precious outfit she is wearing! Love me some of that little baby doll!
